I’m a craft addict – you name the poison, I’ve dabbled in it.  I would see something in the store, buy all the supplies to make it, make it once, and then never use it again.  They were very costly projects.  And I was definitely that meme - why buy it for $7 when you can make it for $86!  But things really changed for me when my husband bought me the Cricut Maker as an early Christmas gift.  Well not at that moment cause the learning curve was steep!

I would say in that first year, EVERY project took 20 times longer than it should have and EVERY project had a mistake (and we’re not talking little ones).  Oh and did I mention the projects were so modified from what I envisioned compared to what was actually produced!  I had a hard time figuring out what I needed to learn and where to learn it from.  I didn’t want to learn everything before I could even do a project.  Fast forward through many projects and many rounds of trying out different avenues within crafting, it turns out that I love doing YouTube tutorials, I love interacting with the crafting community, and I love adding to the crafting community.  After working in the corporate world for so long, I bring a different perspective into crafting … how I look at projects, at materials, and the process.  I hope that you enjoy that different take on crafting, my projects, my passion for teaching, and my overall process.  And if I can convert some peeps into crafters then I’ve made the world a better place.

Happy crafting – An
