MY PROJECTS
DIY MINI DISNEY CHARACTERS
These minis have me a little obsessed lol. So I revamped the process and now Snow White looks huge next to mini.
My previous life as a process designer for Bank of America keeps creeping into my crafting life LOL. We went from Snow White at 5 inches (and losing some parts of her eyes) to a better process with Jasmine at 4 inches to more process changes and landed with Snow White at 3 inches. Snow White at 3 inches has more details in her eyes than SW at 5 inches. I'm in love! Btw SW5 looks gigantic now hahaha.
PRINCESS AND THE FROG PRINGLES CAN PARTY FAVORS
I love the colors for a Tiana theme - green, gold, and white ... with a speck of purple.
So here's another take with the Pringles chip cans - without the dome. If you go with this option, you are not limited in size for what you put on top of the can. And you have all the supplies in your craftroom - paper, glue, and tape.
Which do you prefer? To dome or not dome??? I'm too close to it to tell. And I'm a late bloomer. I need to see it over and over. lol.
DIY 3D LETTERS: TIANA - PRINCESS AND THE FROG
3D letters for a Princess and The Frog Tiana themed party! This was a brand new area for me this year and I absolutely loved it. I’m still learning how to add to it cause surprisingly it’s different than layering a cake topper or banner. But this is definitely on my list for 2021 to get better at editing/adding/designing. 💚💚💚.
OFF THE MAT: SNOW WHITE & CINDERELLA TODDLERS
I’m getting all sentimental and excited about hitting my one year mark as a crafting YouTuber .... so I wanted to challenge myself and make something as tall as my 5 1/2 yr old. I make cake toppers, iron-on vinyl on shirts, personalize anything and everything ... but i feel like when it comes to off-the-mat characters, I am a legit superstar 😁🤪😂🤣. This toddler Snow White is going to be bananas 🍌 🍌 🍌.
OFF THE MAT: CINDERELLA
Cinderella in cardstock at 26 inches 💛💛💛
Cinderella, dressed in yellow; went upstairs to kiss her fellow ... I can never say Cinderella without thinking of yellow jump ropes on the school playground ❤️💙💛 .Steps to minimize seams:1. Make a copy of the face2. Use contour to remove all cutouts (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.)3. Change the copy to black to match your outline
OFF THE MAT: ARIEL - THE LITTLE MERMAID PARTY PROP
Its Ariel at 20 inches! In one of the tutorials below, I show how to attach the project to foam board and how to cut it out. One of my most frequently asked questions is how to do this. The video will show the whole process!
