MY PROJECTS
OFF THE MAT: QUEEN BEE - LOL SURPRISE
Queen Bee from LOL Surprise - she is 30 inches straight off the Cricut cutting mat (so nothing has been taped down). The skin color was hard to capture on camera. Itβs a golden light brown that Iβve used for Princess Jasmine as well. Itβs from Cricutβs Shimmer Paper - Bedazzled Sampler package.
OFF THE MAT: RAINBOW BRITE
Rainbow Brite β€οΈπππππ
Sheβs 30 inches and just so stinking cute in all her colors.
Learn how to determine the maximum size you can do with minimal seams (which in this case was 36 inches) AND learn how to exceed that and make it an entire foot longer (total of 48 inches - 4 feet high) with the same amount of seams π
OFF THE MAT: LADYBUG FROM MIRACULOUS
It's Ladybug from Miraculous! This off-the-Mat Cricut project was sooo much fun and Iβm absolutely in love with the final outcome even if I suck at puzzles!! ππ€¦ββοΈ All cardstock and glitter cardstock !!! β€οΈπππ. Perfect for party decor and pretty much thatβs it ππ€£. Iβm thinking about making Cat Noir, her sidekick, so Charlotte can carry around with her Halloween costume. .
OFF THE MAT: TOTORO AND FRIENDS
I love doing tutorials and helping someone finish their project. Here is the final outcome (not my work, just my tutorial) β love it!!!! Special thanks to Straws, Sticks & Bricks for the amazing svg files β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
OFF THE MAT: REY - STAR WARS
Look at this little badass - Rey from Star Wars! Sheβs 30 inches of cardstock and stinking adorable β€οΈπππππ§‘
Tips:
1. Do not attempt to do this any smaller than 30 inches. There are too many details (aka little pieces).
2. There are many pieces that need to be modified (unlock to make bigger) in order to weld with another piece. Otherwise you will have even more pieces than you will want to deal with. ππ€―π¬
OFF THE MAT: SPIDERMAN
itβs spidey... and Iβm kinda in love π₯°. 30 inches and heβs full of glitter. I have a daughter so most of my stuff is girly. But this guy .... I think lots of boys would love it. .
OFF THE MAT: PIKACHU - POKEMON
I've done so many characters since the first Pikachu that I decided to mess around with the design. Do you see it??? I'm excited to try it this way. The only seams you can see are on the black cardstock and probably a total of an inch. You can always watch the video πππ
OFF THE MAT: SUGAR SKULL
My tribute to Kobe - he had strong ties to the Latino community and this just spoke to me. ππππππI played around with it quite a bit before I settled on these colors ππ
OFF THE MAT: FREDDY KRUEGER
Even scary guys need glitter lol π. Ok so this guy is not an order - Iβm just making him to try to scare the sh!t out of my husband. Still a work in progress but Iβm loving all the details. And just for size reference, thereβs my little Charlotte next to 30 inches of jasmine and Freddy.
OFF THE MAT: CINDERELLA
Cinderella in cardstock at 26 inches πππ
Cinderella, dressed in yellow; went upstairs to kiss her fellow ... I can never say Cinderella without thinking of yellow jump ropes on the school playground β€οΈππ .Steps to minimize seams:1. Make a copy of the face2. Use contour to remove all cutouts (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.)3. Change the copy to black to match your outline
OFF THE MAT: ARIEL - THE LITTLE MERMAID PARTY PROP
Its Ariel at 20 inches! In one of the tutorials below, I show how to attach the project to foam board and how to cut it out. One of my most frequently asked questions is how to do this. The video will show the whole process!
