Get to know Design Space and some of the essentials to make crafting fun and easy! Walk away from this class and feel comfortable tackling new projects.

Objective - Class is most beneficial to the beginners, but open to all because these are tips good for all crafters.

1. Learn how to easily manage your fonts

2. Learn how to access PUA encoded fonts (aka glyphs, swirls, all the extras on fonts)

3. Experiment with the different materials - sticker paper, adhesive vinyl, heat transfer vinyl

4. Learn how to use Design Space (focus on contour, slice, attach, weld, registration marks, align, offset)

5. Know which materials/tools (paper glue, acetate paper, brayer, mini cricut press/heat press etc.) and where to purchase

Hands-on:

1. Assemble a layered cardstock project

2. Weed and apply HTV/vinyl:
—koozie
—drink pouch
—notebook
—canvas bag

3. Assemble a shaker

Saturday, July 16th 1:30-4:30PM

Party Show Stoppers - learn how to make the centerpieces to make your party stand out! In this class you will put together a 26 inch big character and learn all the tips and tricks to make it as seamless as possible. Then you assemble a cake topper shaker using all of our favorite materials.

Objective - Assemble an Off the Mat Character and a Cake Topper Shaker (open to all levels).

1. Apply all the tips and tricks to make what seems impossible look big, sparkly, and seamless: finding the right image, applying all the tricks within Design Space, and then using the right materials

2. Learn the tricks and art of layering a cake topper and adding the shaker element to complete the birthday cake

3. Develop/understand your creative crafting style with colors and materials

4. Know which materials/tools and where to purchase

Hands-on:

1. Assemble an Off the Mat project (includes putting together the character, cutting the foam board, and applying the entire project to the foam board)

2. Assemble a cake topper shaker (includes layering and putting together the cake topper and assembling the shaker)

Create some fun party favors for a picture perfect party. You will get to try out all our favorite materials and tools while putting together all the party favors - chip bag, milk box, pringles can, and straw topper.

Objective - Assemble party favors (open to all levels)

1. Apply the tips and tricks to make adorable party favors (within Design Space, Canva, and printer settings)

2. Learn the tricks and art of layering cardstock

3. Learn how to add a bauble shaker to the pringles can

4. Develop/understand your creative crafting style with colors and materials

5. Know which materials/tools and where to purchase

Hands-on:

1. Assemble a chip bag party favor

2. Assemble a milk box party favor

3. Assemble a pringles can party favor (with a bauble shaker)

4. Assemble a straw topper party favor

Sunday, July 17th 1:30-4:30PM

You have the Cricut, but you're going to want to explore these other tools/gadgets to make the most of the Cricut experience. Get the know how/the scoop without having to read the instructions! Have fun playing and trying out infusible ink, sublimation paint & ink pads, heat transfer vinyl, sublimation printer projects while using all the different presses.

Objective - workshop to play with all the craft tools/machines (open to all levels)

1. Understand how to use each machine

2. Understand the supplies needed for each machine

3. Get a feel for how long, how much pressure, the right way and avoid all the oops at home by yourself

4. Know which materials/tools and where to purchase

Hands-on:

1. Sublimation Project - use sublimation markers, ink pads, paint and compare to a sublimation printed transfer and infusible ink sheets

2. Weed and apply infusible ink sheet project

3. Use a mini press, hand held heat press, and a heat press

4. Try out all the blanks available in the class - mug, keychain, coaster, sequins, tote, shirt, hat and ornament
